Business/Systems Analyst – Architecture
Location: Calgary, AB

Located In Calgary at our head office; You will be responsible for helping to define and shape our service offerings. Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director – Architecture, you will an integral part of our continuing evolution as we establish and expand our customer care, billing, mediation and eServe service offerings to our existing and new customers. You will play a key role in helping to define our application footprint and meet customer requirements by use of your analysis and design experience using our proven structure methods analysis approach.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Works with ENABIL delivery and management teams to contribute to our growth by helping to expand our application portfolio.

• Understand the client’s business, strategies and priorities, and communicate these to all parties involved with the delivery of ENABIL Solutions-related services to the client.
• Lead JAD/JRP sessions to facilitate the gathering of requirements and application solution
• Work with development and test teams to facilitate skills transfer
• Develop detailed design specifications aimed at delivering on customer requirements
• Help develop the roadmap for our product lines in conjuction with our product project teams
• Analyze new offerings that could complement our current services by engaging with external organizations
• Engage with new clients through RFP/RFI processes and assist with customer solution presentations
• Assist with project costing & budget planning
• Ensure a proactive communication strategy is utilized which keeps customers informed of industry trends, new products, services and issues.

Experience and Educational Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of similar or related work experience
• A University Degree in IT with sufficient business experience and work experience.
• Full knowledge of the software development lifecycle with hands on experience using established development methods.
• Experience with UML / RUP
• Experience with data/class modeling
• Demonstrated ability in the business analysis of customer problems/requirements.
• Project management experience an asset
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with a broad range of business customers and to establish / maintain superior business relationships at the all levels.
• Experience and knowledge of the IT industry, with a particular emphasis on application management, business process outsourcing, and software solutions.
• Knowledge of the Wireless / Telecom Industry.
• Strong communication skills – verbal, written and presentation.
• A proven team player with good analytical skills and solid business acumen.
• Technical experience in Java, C, Oracle, Web technologies and Web Services an asset but not essential
