Developer/ Programmer Analyst with Oracle BRM (Billing and Revenue Management) - (Intermediate / Senior levels) – Full Time - Position # SD-BRM DEV

Main Responsibilities and Duties

Programmers/Analysts will be required to perform some or all of the following duties:

• Analyze and develop design specifications for software components.
• Unit Testing
• Documentation of changes and Unit Test results.
• Write, modify, integrate and test software programs.
• Maintain existing software by making modifications as required.
• Identify and communicate technical problems, processes and solutions.
• Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software.
• Assist in the assurance of completeness of user requirements.
• Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications.
• Research and evaluate a variety of software development approaches.
• Engage our Clients to help gather application enhancement requirements.

Skill Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or in another discipline with a significant programming component
• Completion of a Technical College program in computer science with certificate
• 2+ years of industry experience.
• A working knowledge of Crystal Reports would be a definite asset.
• Completion of study courses (and development experience with) related to relational databases / SQL programming and one or a combination of: C and C++ Programming, Java Programming, Unix Shell Scripting, Weblogic.
• Experience with Oracle BRM (Portal Infranet/Integrate Billing Solution) 7.x is a must.
• Training on and/or experience with Oracle and MS Access database software
• Training on and/or experience with UNIX, HP-UX and Sun OS operating systems
• Training on and/or experience with Oracle Apps and Great Plains applications.
• Knowledge in wireless/wireline/IP industry segments
• Must have ability to be strong coder and be able to communicate effectively.
• Must be available to be on after hours pager support rotation.
