Senior Business Analysts – Professional Services - Position # BA-2200
Location: Calgary, AB

ENABIL Solutions is seeking a Senior Business Analysts with Business and Information Technology (IT) experience.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Business Consulting Practice Lead, the Business Analyst is an integral part of ENABIL’s Professional Services team, supporting the delivery of projects to both new and existing clients.

Working closely with Project Management and Development resources, you will be responsible for engaging clients early in the project life cycle to help formulate the direction of projects at the very outset.

Using your facilitation, analysis and documentation experience, you will ensure clarity and understanding of functional and technical project requirements and will help to ensure alignment between your client’s business and technical objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

You will play a key role in creating high quality and repeatable engagements by:

• Understanding the direction, structure, and requirements of ENABIL’s clients
• Leading JAD and/or JRP sessions to facilitate the capture of project requirements
• Developing business process flow diagrams or designs based on defined requirements
• Translating defined requirements into use cases
• Identifying and communicating deficiencies or gaps and recommending solutions
• Representing business interests throughout the project life cycle
• Actively supporting business development activities through the development of client proposals and presentations

Experience and Educational Requirements:

• Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within a professional services organization
• Minimum five (5) years authoring requirements documents, including use case and business process flow documentation
• Minimum two (2) years experience leading requirements gathering sessions with client stakeholder groups
• Experience with every stage of the development full life cycle, including design, development, test and implementation
• Breadth of industry experience preferred
• Strong communication skills – verbal and written
• A post secondary degree in Business Administration and/or Computer Science
